This friendly, rural community foresees much growth over the next ten years, as the areas of Phoenix and Tucson continue to expand. In 2005, the town’s population was about 17,000. By the year 2015, it is estimated that the number of residents could be close to 100,000. Plans are being made to maintain the town’s small, home-town feel as new homeowners and businesses are welcomed to the area.
In Sun Valley Farms, home buyers can expect to find lavish communities with plenty of room for their horses to roam, while communities such as Wildhorse Estates, Dogwood Estates, Sunscape Manor, Desertaire Estates and Evans Estates provide residents with plenty of amenities, at a wallet friendly price. All of these homes are located in the Pinal County of Southeast Arizona, are less than one hour away from the Phoenix and Tucson metro areas.
Although it is now the 21st century, the towns near Florence equestrian properties still maintain the atmosphere of the old west. Main Street, the shopping center of town, is full of western charm with stores marked by charming porches and old western architecture still existing from the 19th century. Likewise, the city of Florence has several annual western festivities.
